Welcome to Academy of ScubaTM for SCUBA Diving in Melbourne
This website is being designed to give you all your Melbourne Scuba diving needs from the trained scuba diver to being able to learn to scuba dive in Melbourne. We are passionate about our diving in Melbourne and want to share that with you. Information on all our courses, us, Melbourne dive sites and everything else is here.
Scuba Diving in Melbourne is world Class. You would never know what is
out there until you see it for your own eyes. The diversity of
Melbourne's underwater life is awesome. Let us show you where to dive
around Melbourne's beautiful bay and the largest group of Wrecks any
where in Australia, including our fantastic Subs and the HMAS Canberra. We have a very large and active Diving club and
will get you scuba diving every weekend and most week nights as well.
If you are a non diver you can learn to scuba dive in Melbourne
then you can dive anywhere in the world! Enjoy looking around and contact us if you need anything. Better still come into the shop and have a look around our large range of Scuba and snorkeling gear. We stock the full range from Scubapro, Oceanic, Apollo, Halcyon & Dive Rite. If we don't have it we can get it.
We are located only 10 minutes from Melbourne's CBD which means that we are the closest PADI Dive centre to the heart of Melbourne. Located near the corner of Burke and Malvern Road, this store is the
most convenient location for people living or working near the city and
is easily accessible either by tram (72), train (Glen Waverley Line,
Gardiner Station) or via the Monash Freeway.
We have a Club House at Rye for Club members and Students on course to stay. This will save the long drive back to Melbourne, so you can enjoy a full weekend of diving.
Bookings are essential.
We are the only dive Shop in Victoria with our own personal Diving Doctor to ensure you are fit to dive before learning. This is conducted on Wednesday Evenings or we can arrange a time that suits.
