Divemaster

In 2007 while on a Winter holiday to Cairns, my partner and I decided to try out a discover scuba on the Barrier Reef.
After two 20 minute dives we were blown away and both said we must get our Open Water Certificate.
Grey_2_1.JPGWell 2 years went by with nothing being done until early 2009 we finally thought about giving diving a go.
We looked in the phonebook for the nearest PADI dive centre and came across Academy Of Scuba.
We were made to feel like part of the family from the beginning. The professionalism shown by the staff and instructors is second to none, so much so that I wanted to "be like one of them" and have progressed through many courses, culminating with PADI Divemaster Certificate. Grey_1_1.JPGIn mid 2009 dived at Byron Bay and in 2010 dived in Vanuatu on the President Coolidge which was AWESOME.
I still think that Melbourne has the best diving conditions to offer new and experienced divers......much more colour than The Barrier Reef and more wrecks than you could count on 2 hands. I look forward to the challenge of working as a Divemaster, especially seeing people breathe underwater for the very first time.
