I started diving in the 80s and fell in love immediately joining a group of guys who did some pretty out there dives I had a lot of fun but was lacking something so that’s when I went down the professional route wanting to share what I had with others
My favourite day of the week is Wednesday as I get to go for a dive after work it is a great way to break the week and have been doing this since the day I was certified with the same group of people meeting a lot of new people along the way
I love to teach and share the joy of the underwater world with anyone I can convince to try it knowing that most end up hooked like I was many going through to become instructors themselves which gives a real sense of satisfaction
Going overseas on dive trips is just the best way to see parts of the world with others sharing the same interests like shipwrecks! Or shipwrecks really what else is there?
They are like a huge time capsule frozen the moment they sank just beckoning to be explored and if you’re lucky they may give up some hidden secret no one else has seen!
Oh I think there may be fish and colourful stuff on them too

Favourite dive site- so many love Sorrento pier deep undisturbed shipwrecks and of course Truk lagoon kicks arse
Favourite overseas destination- Truk lagoon just for the shear variety of wrecks and the place is just so different to our home it is a real contrast 30 degree water say no more
What I get from diving- relaxation from the working week and pure exhilaration on the TEK dives
Favourite course to teach- any where you get to see the pleasure you have given to someone as they gain new experiences
I am part of academy of scuba because it is a great shop and an amazing group of people. They just need to move closer to me.
