PADI Night Diver Course    

 After dark dive sites take on a new aura at night. Take the plunge after dark and discover a whole new world that come to life under the glow of your dive light. Explore dive sites after the sun has set and you will experience a thrilling new dive site every time.

This certification counts towards your Master Scuba Diver rating and a must if you want to join us on our weekly night dives

Day one - Night Diver Evening Theory
Review your knowledge of night diving and learn how to apply it to scuba diving. We will talk about the different creatures that inhabit dive sites at night, equipment used, navigation and techniques to night diving.

Can be done over 2 or 3 nights- Over 3 dives Meet at a selected dive site and explore your diving environment in a new light- a dive light.
Skills you will learn include-
  • Using dive lights and night diving equipment.
  • Entries, exits and navigation at night.
  • Nocturnal aquatic life.
  • Communication and light handling.

Once you have been certified join us on our weekly night dives or let us organise a night dive off a boat and see the dive sites you have been to in a completely different way.

Padi open water diver certification (or junior) and or equivelent certification from another training agency.

equipment_requirements.jpg Equipment Requirements for your PADI Night Diver Course-

Mask, snorkel, boots, fins, hood & gloves. You will also need a knife, torch, underwater slate, dive strobe.

At this level of training it is recommended that you are diving in your own scuba unit as this is the safest way for you to learn. However if you do not have your own, rental is available.
