PADI Search and Recovery Diver 
If you have ever lost anything underwater or if you need to refresh your navigation skills this course is a must. You will learn search and recovery dive planning, organization, procedures, techniques and how to deal with potential problems. You learn how to locate large and small objects using search patterns, and various ways for lifting them to the surface. Not only do these skills make you more capable and confident in the water, but most Search and Recovery Divers eventually end up searching for and recovering something they lost themselves.
PADI Search and Recovery Course schedule-
Day one- Search and Recovery Evening Theory
You will learn about what considerations you need to take when looking for lost objects before you even get in the water. You will become familiar with how you future dives can be structured. Learn which techniques are the best to use in different situations..
Day two and three- Over 4 dives Learn all the search patterns needed to find object of all shapes and sizes. We will be conducting 2 dives a day over 2 days.
- Learn how to plan and organise search and recovery dives.
- Learn how to lift objects up from the bottom where they lie.
- Learn which pattern for searches is best for what you want to find.
- Complete square, U-pattern and circular searches.
PADI Search and Recovery Diver Prerequisites-
Padi open water diver certification (or junior) and or equivelent certification from another training agency.

Requirements for your PADI Search and Recovery Course-
Mask, Snorkel, Boots, Fins, Hood, Dive reel, Lift Bag, Compass, Knife, Slate.
At this level of training it is recommended that you are diving in your own scuba unit, as it is the best way for you to fine-tune your buoyancy. However if you do not have your own, rental is available.
