Academy of Scuba- Rye

This dive shop is located on Point Nepean Rd in Rye. It is directly opposite Rye Pier and can service all your diving needs. The new dive shop for Academy of Scuba is owned by Kat, Trav and James. Our goal at Academy of Scuba was always to give our divers convenience. You can't get any better than a dive shop in front of the beach.

We are here for all your diving and training needs. We can cater to all divers and have streamlined our courses so that everyone around Victoria, or Australia for that fact, can come down, stay at our club house, and learn to dive over one weekend. We also do a mean BBQ on our Saturday afternoon club days where you can all get together, go for a sneaky pier dive and enjoy the company of your fellow divers or diving students.Come in meet the crew, pick up anything you need that you have forgotten in Melbourne or lost on your dive and enjoy the great view of Rye pier out of our front window.

How to get there-

We are located at 2385 Point Nepean Rd Rye, which is an hour and 20 minutes from Melbourne's CBD. Right in the heart of the Mornington Peninsula you can get here but public transport but the best way to get here is by car as dive gear is quite heavy on the bus and the bus takes ages. If you don't have a car don't fret. We have so many divers in the water every weekend that we are sure we can organise a lift. Just call us or the Glen Iris store and we can organise everything for you.
