The PADI Enriched Air Nitrox Diver Course with Academy of Scuba
PADI’s most popular specialty scuba course!
Stay down longer, get back in the water sooner and get certified to dive with Enriched Air Nitrox mixes of up to 40% oxygen.
This course takes up 1 evening of your time and will change your diving forever!
Enriched Air / Nitrox (EANx) is any mixture of nitrogen and oxygen gas for diving where the oxygen content is greater than 21%. The PADI Enriched Air course certified you to dive with oxygen mixtures of up to 40%. This is a great course to combine with your PADI Advanced Open Water, Deep or Wreck specialty. Just ask staff for details on how you can book and save!
Because scuba diving with enriched air nitrox gives you more no-decompression time, especially on repetitive dives. Also, because you aren’t breathing in so much nitrogen, you will be able to get back in the water sooner after diving. Many divers also report feeling much less tired after diving with nitrox. Therefore, this course is a must if you are going on a dive holiday!

Diving with Enriched Air Nitrox goes well with these specialties:
PADI Wreck Diver course. Popular wrecks tend to be deeper, so Enriched Air Nitrox maximises your exploration time.
PADI Deep Diver course. The deeper you dive, the shorter your no-stop time, but Enriched Air Nitrox increases it, therefore you have more time diving at depth.
PADI Master Scuba Diver. The PADI Enriched Air Diver course counts toward your Master Scuba Diver rating, which is the highest non-professional rating in recreational diving.
