Becoming A Dive Professional
Becoming a dive professional is a challenging but rewarding journey. So whether you are looking for a career change or a weekend job with more satisfaction to break up your work life, we would love to help you achieve your professional goals as well as enhance your diving skills and ability.
In addition, you will truly have the chance to love what you do for work. Imagine this – you take someone who has never dived before for their first experience underwater. They may have taken to it easily, or it may have taken you a bit of patience and energy to get them comfortable. Either way, after completing their first dive in the ocean, your students’ eyes are wide with excitement, smiles are shining on faces, and the awe of the beauty of their experience is something that they will never forget.
And you are part of that. As the dive professional that made this all possible, you will never be forgotten either. The feeling of knowing you have made a positive impact in someone’s life is second to none. Whether you are a Divemaster or an Instructor, you will get this feeling almost every time you take someone out and help them with their diving. Plus, your office is the ocean. You can’t get any better than that.
Becoming A Divemaster
Attitude. Professionalism. Confidence.
The first step in becoming a PADI Dive Professional is to become a PADI Divemaster. A Divemaster is a vital part of a dive team. Working closely with a PADI Instructor, in this program you expand your dive knowledge and hone your skills to the professional level.
In addition, the PADI Divemaster training develops your leadership abilities, confidence and gives you a massive sense of achievement. After that, you will be qualified to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers. Also, the PADI Divemaster is the prerequisite certification for both the PADI Assistant Instructor and PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor certifications.

Why Do Your Divemaster with AOS?
Becoming a Divemaster with Academy of Scuba was one of the best decisions I ever made. From the day I did my Open Water course I knew that I would want to take my diving further…
They make the experience fun, challenging and give you real world training to be the best professional you can be. You don’t do simulated courses or simulated guided dives, you do real world stuff and learn hands on under the guidance of the experienced crew.
